Scott Ward
Scott has over 20 years of real estate experience including development and construction in both commercial and residential properties. He is a proud member of the American Association of Private Lenders, having been currently selected as part of the Education Committee. He also hosts a monthly webinar series for AAPL helping professionals in the space to navigate their own journey with Fund Management, as well as being a Certified Fund Manager himself. In addition to this, he is a seasoned underwriter with decades of experience evaluating and assessing projects with raw land development and commercial income producing property. Over his career in private lending, he became a top originator and underwriter, in addition to being a trade organization liaison. Throughout his tenure, he gained extensive experience in underwriting, escrow, appraisals, risk assessment, title, fund control and for sale by owner properties. Mr. Ward has also advised and developed property investment opportunities for retirement and vacation rentals in the beach areas of Florida, Michigan and New Jersey, along with Oil Field and drilling community rentals and hospitality in North Dakota, California and Texas. During the past several years he has focused primarily on commercial and residential tract development, specifically in mid-size income generating opportunities around construction in selected markets focused on growth and solid exit strategies.
